선버들 Fragile willow

선버들 Fragile willow. 버드나무과 버드나무속의 낙엽활엽소교목. 높이 5-7(10)m, 잎은 좁고 긴 타원형 또는 피침형이며 가는 톱니가 있고 표면은 녹색이며 윤채가 있고 뒷면은 흰빛이 돌며 털이 있다. 꽃은 꼬리모양꽃차례로서 4-5월에 암수딴그루로 핀다. 웅화수(雄花穗)는 일년생가지끝에서 잎과 더불어 피며 털이 있고 꿀샘은 2개, 수술은 3(2-5)개이다. 자화수(雌花穗)는 가는 원통형이고 꽃이 성글게 달리며 털이 있고 꿀샘은 1-2개이다. 삭과는 5-6월에 익는다. 하천이나 산골짜기의 습지에 자란다. 마곡사.
