용버들 Salix matsudana

 

 

 

 

용버들 Tortured willow, 학명 Salix matsudana, 고수버들, 파마버들, 용조류(龍爪柳), 운용류(雲龍柳), 용운류(龍雲柳). 버드나무과 버드나무속의 낙엽 활엽 교목. 원줄기와 큰 가지는 위로 자라지만 작은 가지는 밑으로 늘어지고 꾸불꾸불 뒤틀리며 굽기 때문에 바람이 불면 마치 용이 살아서 움직이는 것처럼 보인다 하여 용버들이라는 이름이 붙여졌다. 높이 10m, 잎은 좁은 피침형이며 4월에서 5월 초에 잎이 나올 때 미상 꽃차례를 이루면서 달려 핀다.  수꽃이삭에 꽃턱잎이 있는데 달걀꼴에 연한 황색이며 꼬불꼬불한 털이 난다. 주로 운동계의 통증을 다스리며, 피부 종독에도 효험이 있다. 중국 곡부 가는 길 녹차밭에서.
