산국(山菊) Northern dendranthema

산국 Northern dendranthema 개국화, 들국화, 국화과 산국속의 다년초. 학명 Dendranthema boreale 높이 100-150cm 잎은 어긋나며, 줄기 아래쪽 잎은 넓은 난형, 5갈래로 깊게 갈라진다. 지름 1.5cm 의 꽃은 줄기와 가지 끝에서 머리모양꽃이 모여서 산형꽃차례처럼 달리며, 노란색, 향기가 좋다. 감국(甘菊)에 비해서 줄기는 항상 곧추서며, 머리모양꽃은 지름 1.5cm쯤으로서 감국 2.5cm 보다 작고, 모인꽃싸개잎은 길이가 조금 작으므로 구분된다. 생약명은 야국(野菊)이며 감기, 강심, 강심제, 강장보호, 거담, 고혈압, 구내염, 기관지염, 두통에 효능이 있다. 심천.

산국 / 임상갑

 

 

가을 끝자락 잘게 부서진 햇살이

산국 끝에 떨어져 꽃으로 피었다

앞치마를 두르고 채반을 든 여자

산국꽃을 따고 있다

국화 향 맡으려 얼굴을 들이밀면

미처 보지 못한 꿀벌들이

한 바가지 날아오르고

산국은 춤추는 듯 출렁거린다

 

소금물에 살짝 데쳐 그늘에 말리고

주둥이가 큰 유리병에

산국 향 가두어 놓았다가

부엉이 우는 겨울밤

찻잔 가득짙은 노란 향기 가득 담는다
