단풍나무[丹楓] Korean maple. 단풍의 丹은 붉다는 뜻이고 풍의 楓은 단풍나무를 가리킨다. 학명 Acer palmatum Thunb 계조축(鷄爪).  단풍나무과의 낙엽 활엽 교목. 잎은 단엽으로 5~7 갈래가 진다.  꽃은 단성화로 4~5월 개화하며 자웅동주이다. 어린 잎을 식용할 수 있고 뿌리껍질과 가지는 관절염에 사용한다. 대둔산에서 .
