세열단풍 細裂丹楓 Acer palmatum var. dissectum. 공작 꼬리 같으니 공작단풍(孔雀丹楓). 잎이 잘게 쪼개져 세열단풍(細裂丹楓)인데 세열이나 공작이나 이름 참 이쁘다. 수양단풍이란 말도 있다. 높이 10m. 잎은 마주나고 손바닥 모양으로 7∼11갈래로 갈라지며 갈라진조각은 다시 가늘게 갈라진다. 봄에 초록색에서 여름에 노랑색이나 붉은색으로 변한다. 접목에 의해서만 생산이 가능하다.
