복장나무 Manchurian Maple. 무환자나무목 단풍나무과 단풍나무속의 교목. 높이 10-15m. 복장나무의 잎은 마주나며 3출겹이며 톱니가 자잘하다. 꽃은 5월에 피며 열매는 시과이다. 복자기에 비해서 작은잎에 규칙적인 톱니가 있고, 잎자루에 털이 없으며, 꽃차례에 3-5개의 꽃이 달리고, 열매에 털이 없으므로 구분된다. 단풍이 곱고 진하여 세계적으로 알려져 있는 조경수이다.
