달래 씨앗 Wild rocambole. longstamen-onion, 돌달래, 원산부추, 큰달래, 달룽게, 들달래, 산산(山蒜), 소근산(小根蒜), 해백(薤白), 백합과 부추속의 다년초. 학명 Allium macrostemon.  인경은 지름 10~15mm, 높이 40~80cm, 잎은 2~9개이고 선형으로 길이 20~30cm. 꽃은 5∼6월에 백색 또는 연한 홍색으로 피고 수술과 암술대는 살눈으로 변한다. 열매는 삭과이다. 재배하여 팔고 있는 ‘달래’는 식물학적으로 ‘산달래’이다. 주로 이비인후과 질환을 다스리고, 피로 해소에 효험이 있다.
