동부콩 Vigna sinensis KING

 

동부콩 cowpea, blackeyed pea. 강두(豇豆), 대각두(大角豆), 장두(長豆), 신곡(腎穀), 학명 Vigna sinensis KING .장미목 콩과 Vigna속의 덩굴성 일년초. 아프리카 북미 인도 중국 원산. 잎은 겹잎이며 잔잎 3장으로 이루어져 있다. 꽃은 길다란 줄기 끝에 2, 3송이씩 피며 흰색·자주색·연노란색을 띤다. 꼬투리는 길고 원통형이다. <본초강목>에서는 신장, ,위장 등 오장을 고르게 하고 혈액순환을 촉진, 당뇨병과 토역(吐逆: 구역질), 설사, 요실금증(尿失禁症: 무의식적으로 오줌이 나오는 상태) 등도 다스린다. 주ㅏ에게 물렸을 때 삶아서 마시면 독이 풀린다,
