말냉이 Thlaspi arvense

 

 

말냉이 pennycress, common-pennycress. Field pennycress, 마신(馬辛), 영목(榮目), 풍자초(風子草), 학명 Thlaspi arvense L. 유럽 원산. 석명(菥蓂), 석명자(菥蓂子), 알람채(遏藍菜), 양귀비목 십자화과 말냉이속의 두해살이풀. 높이 20~60cm. 모여 나는 근생엽은 주걱형이며 톱니가 없거나 약간 있다. 어긋나는 경생엽은 도피침상의 긴 타원형으로 톱니가 있다. 4~5월에 개화하며, 총상꽃차례에 피는 꽃은 백색이다. 열매는 넓은 날개가 있고 끝이 오므라지며 소화경이 열매보다 길다. 전초(全草)는 석명은 腎炎(신염), 자궁내막염을 치료한다. 종자는 석명자라 하며 目赤腫痛(목적종통), 流淚(유루), 心腹腰痛(심복요통)을 치료한다.
