큰기름새 siberian-spodiopogon. 아들매기, 이들메기, 학명 Spodiopogon sibiricus Trin.  벼목 화본과 기름새속의 여러해살이풀.  줄기는 곧게 자라며 높이 70-120cm이다. 잎몸은 길이 20-40cm, 폭 5-15mm이다. 꽃은 8-10월에 피며, 꽃차례는 원추꽃차례로 길이 15-25cm이다. 갈라진 가지에는 마디 2-4개가 있고 각 마디마다 작은이삭 2개가 달리는데 하나는 자루가 있고 다른 하나는 자루가 없다. 첫 번째 낱꽃은 수꽃으로 수술은 3개이고, 두 번째 낱꽃은 암꽃으로 암술머리는 2개로 갈라지며 자주색이다. 전초를 민간에서 월경과다, 최산약으로 쓴다.
