자주억새 eulalia

 

 

 

(자주)억새 eulalia. 학명 Miscanthus sinensis. 생약명 망근(芒根). 9월에 자주색을 띤 노란 꽃들이 줄기 끝에서 부채꼴이나 산방 꽃차례로 핀다. 감기, 대하증(백대하), 소변불통, 이뇨, 중독, 해수, 해열에 효과 있다.작은이삭(포영이 될 듯)이 흰색 담황색이며 포영 등에 털이 없으면 참억새, 포영 등에 자주색이 나면 억새로 남부지역에 많다. 물억새는 유일하게 까락이 없다.
