청단풍나무 Japanese maple

 

 

단풍(丹楓)나무 Japanese maple. 노무라단풍(野村楓). 무환자나무목 단풍나무과 단풍나무속의 낙엽교목. 키가 15m. 잎은 마주나고 5~7갈래로 갈라진다. 꽃은 5월에 산방꽃차례를 꽃잎은 암꽃과 수꽃 모두 없고 꽃받침잎 5장이다.  잠자리 날개처럼 생긴 시과(翅果)가 열린다.  원예품종 중에서 잎이 1년 내내 붉은 종류를 홍단풍(또는 봄단풍·노무라단풍), 푸른 것을 청단풍, 가지가 아래로 처지는 수양단풍 등이 있다.
