말똥비름 Bulbos stonecrop

 

말똥비름은 줄기가 퍼지지 전 어릴 때의 모습이 풀밭에 떨어진 말똥과 비슷해서 붙은 이름이다.

말똥비름은 잎이 주걱형이라 알돌나물이라고도 한다.

말똥비름은 돌나물과의 두해살이풀이고 돌나물은 돌나물과의 여러해살이풀이다.

말똥비름은 열매로 번식하지 못하고 살순으로 번식한다.

말똥비름 Bulbos stonecrop 장미목 돌나물과의 이년초. 학명 Sedum bulbiferum Makino 높이 10-20cm. 小箭草(소전초)라 하여 寒熱(한열)학질, 食積腹痛(식적복통), 풍습탄탄(류머티즘에 의한 반신불수), 瘟疫發疹(온역발진-급성 전염병의 발진)을 치료한다. 이름의 유래가 불분명하다.
