산돌배 Ussuri pear

산돌배 Ussuri pear, 학명 Pyrus ussuriensis Maxim. 장미목 장미과 배나무속의 낙엽활엽교목. 높이는 15m에 달한다. 수피는 어두운 회색이다. 어린 가지는 회갈색 또는 자갈색이며, 묵은 가지는 황갈색을 띤다. 잎은 어긋나며, 둥근 난형으로 바늘 모양의 톱니가 있다. 잎자루는 털이 있으나 점차 사라진다. 꽃은 4-5월에 가지 끝에서 산방꽃차례를 이룬다. 꽃받침잎은 피침형으로 갈색 털이 있다. 꽃잎은 도란형으로 흰색이다. 열매는 이과로 둥글다. 과실인 산리(山梨)에는 사과산, 구연산, 과당, 포도당, 蔗糖(자당) 등이 함유되어 熱病傷津(열병상진), 煩渴(번갈), 消渴(소갈), 熱咳(열해), 痰熱(담열)로 인한 驚狂(경광), 일격, 변비를 치료한다. 울릉도.
