스컹크캐비지 Skunk Cabbage. 폴레캣 위드(Polecat Weed). 아시아 앉은부채(Asian skunk cabbage) 또는 흰앉은부채(White skunk cabbage), 학명 lysichiton camtschatcensis. 캄차카반도, 쿠릴열도 원산. 천남성과의 여러해살이풀. 높이 50~100cm, 꽃은 이른 봄에 흰색의 불염포에서 나온다. 꽃에서 불쾌한 악취가 풍긴다. 유기물이 가라앉은 늪지대나 축축한 숲, 숲속의 시냇가를 따라 발견되는 식물이다. 천리포수목원.
