비쑥 Artemisia scoparia

 

 

 

 

 

비쑥 Virgate Wormwood 국화과 쑥속의 한두해살이풀로 산야나 바닷가의 모래땅에 자란다. 학명 Artemisia scoparia 중앙아시아 원산. 높이가 60-90cm. 꽃은 8-9월에 황갈색으로 핀다. 빗자루모양처럼 생긴데서 유래한 이름이다. 사철쑥과 비쑥의 어린 莖葉을 茵蔯蒿(인진호)라 하며 濕熱黃疸(습열황달), 小便不利(소변불리), 風痒瘡疥(풍양창개)를 치료하고 주로 風濕寒熱邪氣(풍습한열사기), 熱結黃疸(열결황달)을 치료한다.
