가는기름나물 Elegant hogfennel, terebinthaceous-hogfennel. 학명 Peucedanum elegans Kom. 산형과 기름나물속의 여러해살이풀. 높이 90cm. 잎은 엽병이 있으며 소엽은 넓은 달걀모양이고 우상으로 깊게 갈라지고 결각과 뾰족한 톱니가 있다. 꽃은 백색으로 7~9월에 피고 겹우산모양꽃차례로서 원줄기 끝과 가지 끝에 달리며 털이 있다. 꽃잎은 5개이며 총포(總苞)도 여러 개이고 소총포는 6~8개이다. 5개의 수술이 있고 씨방은 하위이다. 뿌리를 石防風(석방풍)이라 하며 感冒(감모), 기관지염, 해수, 姙婦(임부)의 해수, 頭風眩痛(두풍현통), 胸脇脹滿(흉협창만), 천식을 치료한다. 청령포에서.
