돌가시 열매 Rosa wichuraiana

 

돌가시나무 Wichura's rose. memorial rose, trailing rose. 광엽장비, 반들가시, 학명 Rosa wichuraiana.  장미과 장미속의 반상록 포복성 관목. 잎은 어긋나며, 두껍고 작은잎 7-9장으로 된 깃꼴겹잎이다. 꽃은 5-7월에 가지 끝에 흰색으로 달린다. 열매는 이과이며 붉게 익는다. 우리나라 전라도와 제주도에서 자생한다. 찔레나무에 비해서 남쪽 바닷가에 분포하며, 줄기는 기는 성질이 있고, 가시가 더욱 날카로우므로 구분된다. 제주.
