개갓냉이 Variable leaf yellowcress. 쇠냉이, 갓냉이, 졸속속이풀, 학명 Rorippa indica , 양귀비목 십자화과 개갓냉이속의 여러해살이풀.  꽃은 5-6월에 피고 황색이며 가지 끝과 원줄기 끝에 작은 십자모양꽃부리가 총상으로 달린다. 꽃받침조각은 긴 타원형이며 털이 약간 있고 꽃잎은 황색이며 꽃받침보다 약간 길며 1개의 암술이 있다. 열매는 장각과 좁은 선형이며 종자는 황색이다. 전초(全草)를 한채라 하며 rorifone이 들어 있어 淸熱(청열), 利尿(이뇨), 活血(활혈), 通經(통경)에 사용한다.
