수련의 비밀 - 채호기

 

  안으로 조용하게 들끓는 여름.

강한 햇빛과 차가운 물, 무거운 돌,

후텁지근한 바람과 축 늘어진 나뭇잎, 감기는 눈, 수련,

말 못하는 이 모든 것들은 비밀을 간직하고 있다.

물안개 속에 어렴풋한 여름 새벽의 식물들처럼

말이 되지 못한 것들이 뒤엉켜 있는 잡목 숲.

언어로도 표현하지 못하는 여름의 비밀, 시간의 비밀,

삶의 비밀, 수련의 비밀,

 

비밀은 깊다. 말없는 시간의 더딘 지루함과

기다리는 시간의 조급함처럼.

팔 하나를 집어넣어도 잡을 수 없는 깊이.

몸 전체를 빠뜨려도 섞일 수 없는 깊이.
