기름나물 Peucedanum terebinthaceum

미나리과의 여러해살이풀로 숲속 그늘에 산다.숲속 향기가 나기 때문에 연한 부분을 생식하거나 김치로 담근다.산나물 가운데 얼마나 좋길래 참 이란 접두사가 붙었을까.참나물은 결각이 있는 잎이 석 장이고, 가는참나물은 거기서 또 여러 갈래로 가늘게 찢지므로 미나리 잎과 비슷하며, 전체에 흰털이 있는 노루참나물이 있다.

기름나물 terebinthaceous-hogfennel. 두메방풍, 참기름나물, 산호채(珊瑚菜), 석방풍(石防風), 학명 Peucedanum terebinthaceum.  높이 50~150cm. 7~9월에 개화하고 백색이다. 열매는 편평한 타원형이며 가장자리가 좁은 날개 모양이다. 산지나 들에서 자란다. 어린잎은 식용하고 뿌리인 石防風(석방풍)은 感冒(감모), 기관지염, 해수, 姙婦(임부)의 해수, 頭風眩痛(두풍현통), 胸脇脹滿(흉협창만), 천식을 치료한다. 바닷가에 자라는 갯기름나물이 방풍나물로 유통되고 있으며, 북부지방에 분포하는 가는기름나물은 잎이 더욱 가늘고 세밀하다.
