  논산의 젖줄이자 8경의 하나인 탑정호(塔亭湖). 논산의 일강 손희선 작가가 농막전시실을 마련해 놓고 일몰이벤트 초청을 하여 다녀왔다. 후삼국시대 왕건이 이곳에 어린사를 건축하면서 석탑도 함께 세웠는데 정자(亭子) 모양의 탑(塔)이 있던 호수라 탑정호가 되었다는. ... 탑정호수 주변에 수변생태공원, 계백장군묘역, 백제군사박물관, 충곡서원, 박범신집필관 등 둘러볼 곳이 여럿 있다.
