갯취 ragwort. 초롱꽃목 국화과 곰취속의 다년초.  학명 Ligularia taquetii. 속명 Ligularia는 ligula(舌)에서 유래한 것으로 작은 혀꽃이 달린다. 높이는 1m. 잎은 어긋나기하고 엽병은 길이 25-50cm이며 털이 없고 가장자리가 물결모양으로서 거의 밋밋하다. 꽃은 6-7월에 피고 황색이며 수과는 원뿔모양이다. 한국특산종이다. 잎은 식용하고 개선, 보익, 진정, 진통, 옴을 치료하는데 사용한다.
