블루세이지 Blue Sage, Mealycup sage. 꿀풀과의 여러해살이풀. 멕시코 중남미 원산. 5~10월에 총상화서로 청보라색 꽃을 피운다. Sage 는 건강하다 치료하다 구조하다 의 뜻이다. 잎을 말려 강장작용, 신경계, 소화계에 사용하는 허브식물이다.
