깨풀 copperleaf 학명 Acalypha australis L. 전라채(田螺菜), 묘안초(猫眼草), 철현채(鐵莧菜), 함주초, 야황마, 대극목 대극과의 일년초. 높이 30∼50cm. 밭이나 길가에 자란다. 가을에 꽃이 핀다. 나물로 먹거나 감기, 살충, 이수, 자궁출혈, 지혈에 사용한다, 민간에서는 생풀을 짓찧어 아픈 부위에 붙인다.
