흰독나방 Brown-Tail Moth. 학명 Euproctis similis (Fuessly, 1775) .날개편길이 수컷 25~29mm, 암컷 33~42mm. 성충은 5~6월과 7~8월에 걸쳐 연 2회 나타난다. 전체가 백색이며 앞날개 후연부에 2개의 흑갈색 무늬가 있다. 벚나무류, 버드나무류에 많이 발생한다. 기주식물은 개암나무, 사스레피나무이다.  대청호.
