파리매 Promachus yesonicus

 

 

파리매 Promachus yesonicus Bigot, 1887, 몸길이 25-28mm. 파리를 잡는데 매처럼 날카로운 사냥꾼이어서 유래된 이름이다. 몸은 흑색. 겹눈사이는 머리 폭의 약 1/4이며 갈색 가루로 덮였고 옆가장자리에 난 털은 흑색니다. 얼굴은 아랫쪽 절반이 뚜렷이 앞으로 융기되었고 황색 가루와 황색털로 덮혀 있다. 주둥이는 흑색이고 더듬이도 흑색이다.
