흰띠명나방 Hymenia recurvalis Fabricius. 명나방과. 날개길이 20-24mm. 성충은 6~10월에 나타난다. 날개는 전체적으로 흑갈색을 띄며 앞날개에는 뚜렷한 갈고리 모양의 내횡선이 있으며, 뒷날개의 내횡선도 넓으며 뚜렷하다. 시금치, 근대, 오이 등의 채소를 식해한다.
