대둔산.

노랑제비꽃 Oriental yellow violet. Golden violet. 노랑오랑캐, 학명 Viola orientalis. 산 속 풀밭에서 자라며 키는 10~20㎝. 잎은 2가지가 달리는데 그중 뿌리에서 나오는 잎[根生葉]은 심장처럼 잎 밑이 약간 들어가 있으며 잎가장자리에는 파도처럼 생긴 잔 톱니가 있다. 꽃은 이른봄에 줄기 끝에 노란색으로 피며  무리져 자라기도 한다.  5장으로 아래쪽에 있는 꽃잎에는 몇 개의 황갈색무늬가 있다. 이린순은 식용한다. 

나폴레옹이 엘바섬 유배시 제비꽃이 필 때쯤 다시 돌아가리라 선언 후 실천하였다. 그래서 한 때는 반역의 상징이기도 했던 노랑제비꽃.
