제비꽃 manchurian violet

제비꽃 manchurian violet. 오랑캐꽃, 장수꽃, 씨름꽃, 민오랑캐꽃, 병아리꽃, 외나물, 옥녀제비꽃, 앉은뱅이꽃, 가락지꽃, 참제비꽃, 참털제비꽃, 큰제비꽃, 독행호(獨行虎), 양각자(羊角子), 자화지정(紫花地丁), 학명 Viola mandshurica W.Becker. 높이가 10-15(24㎝)cm. 잎은 피침형이며 둔한 톱니가 있다. 꽃은 보라색 또는 짙은 자색으로 4~5월에  한쪽을 향하여 피며 5개의 수술과 1개의 암술이 있다.  어린잎은 식용하고, 뿌리는 地丁(지정)이라 하며 淸熱(청열), 利濕(이습), 해독, 消腫(소종)의 효능이 있다. 그리스의 신화에 나오는 양치기 소년 ‘아티스’가 아름다운 소녀 ‘이아’의 진실한 사랑을 모른 척 하자 ‘이아’가 죽어 제비꽃이 되었다는 이야기가 있다.

제비꽃 한 포기

오순도순 돋아난 걸 보고

들길 가던 유경이가 무슨 꽃이냐고 묻는다

나는 제비꽃이라고 가르쳐주었다

또 오랑캐꽃으로도 부른다고

한참 동안 그 오롯한 것을 들여다보면서

유경이와 나는 들녘에서

둘이서 이 세상을 반반씩 다 알았다

햇볕도 관심 있다는 듯 우리를 오래 비추었다
