체리톱시스 푸푸레아(Cheiridopsis Purpurea). 진홍색 적자색 꽃이 핀다. 나미비아, 남아공 원산. 번행초과. 체리톱시스는 그리스어로 Sleeve라는 뜻으로 손을 닮은, 손과 같은 이라는 뜻이며 마치 가위손 같기도 하다. Cheiridopsis denticulata, Cheiridopsis candidissima, Cheiridopsis Pillansii는 노란색꽃. Cheiridopsis Namaquensis는 밤색꽃이다. 한밭수목원
