바우히니아 토멘토사 Bauhinia tomentosa. 영명 노랑바우히니아(yellow bauhinia), 노랑벨 난초나무(yellow bell orchid tree). 콩과의 관목으로 높이 4m. .가느다란 가지가 많이 발생한다. tomentosa는 수피가 매끄럽고 털이 많다는 뜻이다. 녹색잎은 두 갈래로 갈라진 타원형이다. 양의 발톱을 달았다고 하여 중국에서는 황화양제갑(羊蹄甲)이라 부른다. 꽃은 종모양이고 노란색 꽃잎 기부에 적갈색 무늬 있다. 한밭수목원.
