개모시풀 Boehmeria platanifolia

 

 

개모시풀 Sycamore-leaf falsenettle. African Falsenettle, 팔각마, 방마, 야저마, 좀모시풀, 왜모시, 학명 Boehmeria platanifolia Franch. & Sav. 쐐기풀과 모시풀속의 여러해살이풀. 높이가 1m. 줄기에 짧은 털이 빽빽하게 난다. 잎은 마주나고 난상 장타원형이며 끝은 꼬리처럼 뾰족하고 톱니가 있다. 꽃은 7-8월에 연한 녹색으로 핀다. 수꽃차례는 줄기 아래쪽에 달리고 암꽃차례는 줄기 위쪽에 달린다. 열매는 수과이고 도란형이며 날개가 있고 털이 있다.
