흰무늬왕불나방 Aglaeomorpha histrio

 

흰무늬왕불나방 Aglaeomorpha histrio (Walker). 날불나방과. 개편길이 75~85mm.  성충은 5~6월과 7~8월에 나타난다.  더듬이는 흑색의 실 모양이다.  머리의 중앙과 양쪽 경판은 흑색의 무늬가 있다.  어깨판은 흑색, 가슴의 등쪽면 중앙도 흑색. 배는 황색, 등쪽면 중앙의 배마디에는 세로로 흑색 무늬가 있다. 거제도.
