복자기 단풍 Three-flower maple

 

 

 

복자기나무 Three-flower maple. 무환자나무목 단풍나무과 단풍나무속의 소교목. 나도박달, 산참대. 학명 Acer triflorum Kom. 높이 10m. 잎은 마주나며, 3출겹잎, 꽃은 5-6월에 가지 끝에서 3개씩 달린다. 열매는 시과이다. 복장나무에 비해서 작은잎에 톱니가 없거나 2-3개 있고, 잎자루와 열매에 털이 있다. 보문산.

약명은 삼화축(三花殧)인데 꽃의 모양을 이른 듯 하고. 재질이 단단하여 차축을 만드는데 혹은 염색재로 사용한다.

한자어로는 우근자(牛筋子), 색수(色樹)라 할 정도로 단풍이 곱다.

고로쇠와 마찬가지로 수액을 벋아 마시는데 청혈해독작용을 한다.

뜬금없지만, 복자기라는 이름은 상주 외의 일가친척인 복인(服人)에서 유래하여 주인공이 아닌 주변인을 뜻하므로
