무늬네군도단풍 Ashleaf maple

 

 

 

아체르 네군도 바리에가툼(Acer negundo 'Variegatum'), Variegated boxelder, 영명 Ashleaf Maple, box elder. 북미 원산. 무환자나무목 단풍나무과의 교목. 약 20m. 습한 곳에서 서식한다. 3장, 5장, 7장의 잔잎으로 된 겹잎이 나고 가장자리는 톱니처럼 드문드문 갈라진다. 꽃은 4월에 잎보다 먼저 황록색으로 핀다. 가을에 가지가 검은 자줏빛으로 되고 작은잎이 보통 5∼7개인 것을 자주네군도단풍(var.violaceum )이라고 한다.  종소명인 negundo 라는 말이 궁금한데 좀목형의 잎을 닮은 뜻에서 유래된 것으로 추정된다. 좀목형 https://ktk84378837.tistory.com/5864 한밭수목원.
