둥근잎유홍초 star-ipomoea, small-red-morning-glory, 능조라. 누홍초(縷紅草), 금병봉(錦屛封). 취령초(翠翎草), 학명 Quamoclit coccinea Moench 가지목 메꽃과 유홍초속의 덩굴성 일년초. 길이가 1-2m. 줄기는 다른 물체를 왼쪽으로 감고 올라간다. 잎은 어긋나며 심장상 원형이며 꽃은 8-9월에 노란빛이 도는 붉은색이 피고 나팔 모양이다. 열매는 삭과이며 둥글다.
