참억새 모닝라이트 Miscanthus sinensis ‘Morning Light’

 

 

 참억새 ‘모닝라이트’(Miscanthus sinensis ‘Morning Light’) 영명 Maiden Silvergrass 'Morning Light'. 아침햇살이 비치면 황금빛을 발한다. 줄기는 총생하여 90-120 cm로 큰 덤불을 이룬다. 
잎의 길이는 70cm에 폭은 5mm정도라 가느다란 모양이다. 꽃은 늦 여름이나 이른 가을에 피고, 이삭은 갈색이나 자주색이다. 조경용으로 넓은 정원이나 공원, 식물원 등에 심습니다. 참억새 디지랜드 Miscanthus sinensis 'Dixieland' 와 혼동된다. 진천 농다리.
