팥중이 Oedaleus infernalis Saussure, 1884. 몸길이는 32~45mm. 앞가슴은 다소 지붕 모양으로 되었고 암갈색 또는 흑갈색인데 중앙에서 절단되었으며 X자 모양의 옅은 색 선이 있다. 앞날개는 뒷무릎을 초월하고 볼기부는 옅은 갈색 또는 암갈색이고 담색의 작은 점무늬가 많이 있다. 성묘 중에.
