앞붉은명나방 Oncocera semirubella, 날개편길이 21~29mm. 성충은 5~8월에 나타나며 전국 각지에서 볼 수 있는 아주 흔한 종이다. 머리는 황백색 더듬이는 실 모양 담황갈색을 띠며, 수컷은 병절에 인편이 모여 다발을 이룬 오목한 만곡부가 있다. 아랫입술수염은 위로 구부러져 있고, 황갈색. 수컷의 작은턱수염은 길고 인모가 있다. 대청호.
