여우꼬리선인장 Cleistocatus winteri, 황금주(黃金柱)선인장, 영명 Golden rat tail cactus. Cleistocatus는 닫히다는 뜻의 그리스어 Kleistos에서 왔다. 주황색 꽃이 길어서 꽃덮이가 벌어지기 힘들다고 그렇단다. 빛의 보슬보슬한 가시와 사슴뿔같은 수형이 아름답다. 구불구불하게 자라는 철화 형태(Cleistocactus winteri f.cristata) 로도 많은 사랑을 받고 있다. 한밭수목원.
